Accepting & Growing from Change

Whether we like it or not, things are going to change throughout our lifetime. Our work situations, our family dynamics, our relationships, everything we know is bound to change at one point or another. Sometimes it’s a change for the better and sometimes it’s a change that takes us for a wild and unsure ride where we don’t know what to do next.

No matter the change that comes our way, it’s important that we use it to our benefit and/or the benefit of others. We can use it not only as a learning and strengthening experience, but also as a way to put us on an even better path than the previous one. God has a way of opening up doors we didn’t think we could walk through. Sometimes the changes we go through are the ones that prepare us for the next step we need to take to become the people we were created to be.

With every change in our lives comes growth, if we will only allow ourselves to learn and make the necessary adjustments to make the change an effective one. Everyone knows that change is uncomfortable, but that is what makes us better and stronger in the long run. Change stretches us, it builds us, and if we choose to embrace the change, it forces us to be better, to do more, and to try harder…
