What the World Cup Soccer Tournament Has Brought to Us as Parents
I don’t know about you, but watching all the amazing feedback we have been given by other countries visiting America has been so inspiring to the people of the United States! These visitors are raving about how amazing the food is here or how they can’t seem to understand the concept of free soft drink refills or chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant! But what I loved the absolute most was what they said about how nice everyone is here!!
These people from across the world who have heard horrible things about America came here anyway to find out for themselves that we can be an absolute delight! We wave at strangers in passing on the road, we hold doors open for people we don’t even know, and we say good morning regardless of who you are encountering. For other countries, these things may be unheard of. In America this can be an everyday occurrence. For that, we want to make a united shout out to the parents, saying “JOB WELL DONE!”.
In hopes that we continue to raise our children in a positive light by showing respect for each person we meet, making kindness a part of history instead of the alternative is necessary. With every action demonstrated, something has been taught. Parents have taught morals and values to their children. Being passed down from generation to generation are beliefs between right and wrong behavior regarding respect for other people, generosity, and kindness to others!…
