New Beginnings to Reach a New Outcome
When we think about having to start over in our lives, changing where we live, starting a new job, or beginning new relationships, it can be rather frightening walking into the unknown. Surrounding yourself with new people, new circumstances, and new rules can be challenging, but it is also an opportunity to uncover a new side of yourself that truly allows you to shine for the better.
There was a song that came out in the early 2000’s called “Closing Time” by Semisonic that had a lyric stating “…Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end”. That statement shows us we make more changes in our lifetime than we probably realize, some are just bigger and more impactful than others. The question behind the changes we make is “what is our goal?”. What do we want to happen through this change? Are we trying to better ourselves for the sake of our family? Are we working toward an increase in income at work? Or are we setting up new boundaries for ourselves to eliminate toxic people in our lives? Regardless of the reason, we still have that goal in mind -- the new desired outcome. And with that goal comes action for the change we want to see and experience…
