Celebrating Other People
When something exciting happens in our life, our immediate thought may be “I can’t wait to tell someone!” We have those few people who we want to call first to share the news because we know that they are going to be just as excited about it as we are. We want to be able to share good news and spread the joy with people who truly care about us.
This is why it is important to surround ourselves with people who want good things for us and who are investing in the relationship. Unfortunately, these days a lot of relationships tend to be more self-serving and one-sided. We only hear from these people when something is going on in their life. They either need something from us or want to brag about how great their situation is but rarely care to ask about what is happening in our life.
An interesting word… “Investing”. To invest in something, you must put something of value into your investment to get something in return of similar or greater value…
