Honesty is the Best Policy
Have you ever noticed in movies, most of the ‘dramatic’ situations are caused because someone isn’t being truthful about something? There are tons of examples of this, for instance: The mother doesn’t want to disclose to the family that she is sick because she doesn’t want them to worry about her (there are a lot of these movies, I can think of about 5 off the top of my head). OR character A is secretly in love with character B; however, character B is with character C because she doesn’t know the feelings the other person has for her/him (this is almost every ‘romcom’ out there). All the drama in both these situations could have easily been ‘reduced’, if not solved, if the person would have been honest about what was happening. But you can’t make money in movies by always telling the truth…
