“I Don’t Like How I Got Here, but I Like Where It’s Going!”
Have you ever driven down the road and reach your destination, but you can’t really remember the drive or how you got there? Unfortunately for us, real life situations aren’t really that easy and if we’re healthy and present, there really isn’t such a thing as ‘autopilot’.
I heard this statement from a TV show recently saying, “I don’t like how I got here, but I like where it’s going.” That statement struck a chord and rang so true in my mind. We are making conscious decisions, doing our best NOT to back track (which will only put us right back to where we don’t want to be), and to move forward for better things, greater opportunities, and a happier life!
Sometimes when things seem like they are tougher than they’ve ever been before, it’s just the start to a new door opening and welcoming you with open arms for blessings! That door could lead to a path you never thought you would be going down, and it turns out to be better than you ever imagined!…
